Sauna Reviewers is an independent editorial platform. Our mission is to provide buyers with honest, research-backed information about home saunas — free from the commercial pressures that compromise much of the content in this category.

Independence
Editorial decisions are made solely by our editorial team. Advertisers, affiliate partners, and brands have no influence over our rankings, recommendations, or review scores. A product's commercial relationship with our site — or lack thereof — has no bearing on how it is covered.
Evidence-Based Evaluation
Every product we review is evaluated against a documented 40-point framework. We assess heat performance, EMF output, build quality, warranty terms, customer service reputation, and real-world owner feedback. Manufacturer claims are cross-referenced against third-party data wherever possible.
No Pay-to-Play
We do not accept payment for editorial placement, favorable rankings, or positive reviews. Brands cannot purchase a top spot in our roundups. If a product earns a recommendation, it is because it performed well against our evaluation criteria — not because a brand paid for visibility.
Regular Updates
The home sauna market changes frequently. Prices shift, new models launch, and owner experiences accumulate over time. We review and update our content at least annually — and more frequently when significant new information becomes available — to ensure our recommendations reflect the current state of the market.
Our Review Process
Each sauna review and comparison article follows a structured process. We begin by compiling manufacturer specifications and cross-referencing them against independent lab data, regulatory filings, and third-party certifications where available. We then survey owner feedback from verified purchase platforms, forums, and community groups to understand real-world performance over time.
For products we have physically tested, we document heat-up times, temperature consistency, EMF readings, and build quality observations using a standardized evaluation form. For products we have not tested directly, we are transparent about this limitation and rely on aggregated owner data and specification analysis.
All content is reviewed by a senior editor before publication. Any factual errors brought to our attention are corrected promptly, with a correction notice added to the affected article.
